In metabolomic studies thousands of endogenous compounds present in biofluids or tissues -serum, plasma, urine, saliva, cerebrospinal fluid or biopsies- are analyzed.
These metabolites belong to multiple chemical categories and present highly varied physico-chemical properties. Their concentration can vary in more than four orders of magnitude, presenting challenges to their simultaneous detection and quantification.
MDRenal consistently improves its technology in sample preparation, high resolution chromatography, and mass spectrometry detection to provide our clients with systems capable of analyzing the highest possible yield of metabolites at the most exigent reproducibility and precision levels.
At present, MDRenal is focused on the human metabolome, although our bioanalytical technology is readily extended to organisms such as animal models, plants or bacteria.
