MDRenal is a privately held biotechnology company specialized in the field of biometrics. Its activity is centered in the development of analytical tools based in mass spectrometry and oriented to metabolomics.
Metabolomics offers a wide range of applications, specially related to toxicology and pharmacological evaluation. It allows for rapid detection and quantification of changes in the levels of metabolites in pathology, and aids in tracking the metabolism of an administrated drug. It is also applied in the discovery of new biomarkers for non-invasive early diagnosis.

Presently, MDRenal is developing a proprietary technology for the identification and quantification of analytes in complex solutions and subsequent analysis. This work is geared toward the creation of a complete bioanalytical system capable of rendering mass spectrometry-based metabolomics more accessible and precise than ever.

Currently we are developing the fastest and most complete kit available on the market for the unequivocally precise identification and quantification of hundreds of metabolites present in biofluids via a hyphenated liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry technique. The kit facilitates quantification of a wide range of different metabolites and is suitable for use with any biofluid.
